yup,
i had finally cut my hair SHORT.
feels good knowing i will have shorter time dry blowing, no curling needed and definitely what most of you guys think it's best to have short hair, especially living in singapore when the un-predictable weather is so tough to envisage it's mood.
kinda like it though.....still loving the image of having nice beautiful long hair.
i guess that will never happen because i never had long hair that suits me anyway. haha! thanks to hair extension that can make our hair looks so much different but unfortunately, it WONT last long. think less of having it on to beautify ourselves.girls can look pretty cool too with short hair. =X isnt it?
geeezzzz. i have a thought of chopping it shorter. tao zi came to my mind now! maybe we shall go together to a nice salon to get our hair done.

so there goes my one 寸步不離 week of leave with no pimples,eye bags and tired eyes and after my two night shifts i looked "craze-ly" DIFFERENT.
i looked like "shhhhhiated".
apparently with all the NOs i have during my one week break,it becomes a YESsss after the first day i went back work. and i think it's time for me to snuggle onto my bed as its already 1130am!!!!!! omgosh. nights for me and good day to you guys out there! =D

Im back again. :) it's been a while since my last post in Here? How's everyone out there? Ahha I guess not many of you will be reading my rusty blog anymore. my pc's down , thus using my petite iPhone to type my super late entry. Days were good. It's just the time to move on towards my goal in life. Time not be wasted as my days in kkh is getting shorter!! Weee. I can't wait to get out of there. Sigh, however will miss working there but not tgt with menopause people. Sad but I hope to reach out for the dream I had always wanted. Back then I used to thought dreams are just fantasy, after much twisting and tuning in life, dreams can be reality if we don't give up, at most I had tried to be who I wanna be. And that makes my dream accomplished. By giving up means defeat. And yay, keeping my head high up and strive for the best!!! I wish for nth more as my life revolves with the people I love and with people who help me so far, gratitude. If not for all, I won't be a freelance model, and I won't persuade to go further without your encouragement.

And it's just only the beginning of my passion.

i started to see changes at my work place.
it's a lil scary at times because it was never like a happy turn over for the new year.
perhaps it was become of the ESS issue that pulls every possiblity to trust her own co-worker.
one word, disappointment.
i started to feel worthless in this current industry.
and this was just only the initial beginning.
i forsee things will change much more in the near future.
in ward 75.
and i know i will be leaving by then.
by then i hope i know what i want to do/ like to do.
like what my peeps had been saying,
to do what i like to do most now when im still youngie.
:)

last week i was actually on leave thats a total of 7 days!
and the reason why i have not beeen blogging beause of great amber time spent with baby! kinda not used to it when he wasnt around with me. just hate it going back to work too. awww reminds me of work. hehehehe but remembering the times we had together was irreplace-able. just love the days baby is with me after his work and off days. love you lots.

the biggest issue that pulls many of us, nurses down in ward 75 is our ESS.
those who didnt submit our leave and MCs online over the past 2 years got ranting from both mathron and manager.
it's therefore called a serious offence and those who commit such mistake can be terminated.
but i see sister's hardwork in making things right for us.
and i believe she had other things to mendle other than sorting ESS issue for us.
remoseful.
but i did all i can to cover things up.
i felt more remoseful when i said to her today i migh be leaving to join another private clinic in town.
it's like leaving a home i spent for 3 years.
but ya, for better prospective i will leave.
flying is another option.
if i fly that is to explore and earn more i can while im young.
if stay that is to make sure i spend more time at home without getting any night shifts and stuff so that my room can be a "room" again.
it's helll of a mess.
bleah.

but will i'm so indecisive about plans.
let nature takes it's course thou.

it's really time to get a new bed.
so that my back wont gets hurt each time im awake.

i was counting down to christmas a few months back and now it's just 25 days to christmas!
i love christmas songs being played in shopping malls etc.
the joyful moments.....
just beautiful.

and i see myself growing up as wach day passed.
with no letters on my table and now...
a pile of letters addressed to me.
it's a sign of " i have to be responsible" for my well being.
im a grown up and it's my duty to take care of myself and not being hurt by the reality.
definitely,
those tough moments made me grow,
but the happiness that tails behide keeps me going.

people that i hope to be friends with.

finally today was a.... good day?
there will always be a rainbow after the rain.
did spoke to my manager about an issue that happened last night.
pretty scary still if i ever think of it now.
how terrifying a person can be when they are in mental stress.
how much it takes to tolerate their blasting episodes.

i seek comfort from colleagues friends and love ones.
i tried hard to understand why did she behave in that manner.
and it wasnt entirely her fault and how stress up she was to act that way towards me.

one of her child was discharged by one of my colleague.
two of her kids were stil in CE with the same illness.
she's one carer for all of them and no idea where's her husband.

i was the unlucky one that acted like a tissue at the point of time when her heat cannot withstand within.
in an over view from the nurses station,
you made me felt like one hell of a bad nurse, that treated you like a dead corpse,
pushing you in the far end where you had no one to turn to and spitting angry words at me thinking i wasnt doing a good job to make you statified.

i gave her options for comfort.
i gave her time to settle.
i gave her the nicest words she can ever hear from.
i offer her my silence while she rant at me.
but it wasnt enough for an angry person like her.

a tissue adsorbing her anger that's unbearable anymore within.
and on the other hand as a cushion for the kids comfort.
showering her kid, changing of nappy, carrying her baby around when she isnt there, etc.
and lastly, you took me like a pillow. slammed it on the wall numerous time.
calling by my real name and naming me idiot.

a tissue.
a cushion.
a pillow.
you treat me like a non-living thing without any feelings.
i tried so hard to think it wasnt what you really meant to........ verbally abused.
i apologised to you, not for any mistakes i had done but for the plague you are in at that moment.

2nd post night = a DO and a rest day!

random thoughts flowing thru now...

i was in a train on the way back home,
two primary school kids(maybe primary 6)rushed towards a two sided seats whereby one indicating a seat for the needy when boarding a train.
an old woman hop on the next station and apparently this kid stared at the old lady and turned away, continued their hearty chat.
a lady with specs saw everything and i guess she couldnt help it but to call out to the primary school kid and point her finger towards the elderly woman.
this girl just stared straight at the lady and thought for a minute or two whether to give the seats to the old lady.
and finally she stood up for the elderly.

i was thinking....
"buay pai seh meh?"
people must have thought such ugly singaporeans as there were a couple of foreigners watching at the same time.
like me.
typical young singaporeans...
i wonder how kids are taught this days.

it's good to groom them good manners before they are too "old" to learn.

alright time for me to ZZZZzz too.

Why I fired my Secretary

Why I fired my Secretary.
Last week was my birthday
and I didn't feel very well
waking up on that morning.
I went downstairs for breakfast
hoping my wife would be pleasant and say,
'Happy Birthday!',
and possibly have a small present for me.
As it turned out,
she barely said good morning,
let alone
' Happy Birthday.'
I thought...
Well,
that's marriage for you,
but the kids....
They will remember.
My kids came bounding down stairs to breakfast
and didn't say a word.
So when I left for the office,
I felt pretty low
and somewhat despondent.
As I walked into my office,
my secretary Jane said,
'Good Morning Boss,
and by the way
Happy Birthday ! '
It felt a little better
that at least someone had remembered.
I worked until one o'clock ,
when Jane knocked on my door
and said, 'You know,
It's such a beautiful day outside,
and it is your Birthday,
what do you say we go out to lunch,
just you and me.'
I said, 'Thanks, Jane,
that's the greatest thing
I've heard all day.
Let's go !'
We went to lunch.
But we didn't go
where we normally would go.
She chose instead a quite bistro
with a private table.
We had two martinis each
and I enjoyed the meal tremendously.
On the way back to the office,
Jane said, 'You know,
It's such a beautiful day...
We don't need to go straight back to the office,
Do We ?'
I responded,
'I guess not.
What do you have in mind ?'
She said,
'Let's drop by my apartment,
it's just around the corner.'
After arriving at her apartment,
Jane turned to me and said,
' Boss, if you don't mind,
I'm going to step into the bedroom
for just a moment.
I'll be right back.'
'Ok.' I nervously replied.
She went into the bedroom and,
after a couple of minutes,
she came out
carrying a huge birthday cake ...
Followed
by my wife,
my kids,
and dozens of my friends
and co-workers,
all singing 'Happy Birthday'.
And I just sat there...
On the couch...
Naked.

early morning 0300am ;22/07/2009,
i was down with a bad tummy flu.
sick baby too, was supppper duuupppper nice.
after a day at work when he knew i wishes to see him,
he drove down to my side, West and accompany his sick girl for a couple of hours before heading back to his side, East.
thumbs up bf i have got all along.

still sickly.
i didnt get to eat a single meal on the day i took MC except for half a can of isotonic drink and 1/4 of honey cranberry tea.
the following day only managed to eat few spoonful of porridge and off to work.
lucky i had loges and hui luan for a short break and i eat beehoon and a bottle of lychee juice.
so that was fair enough to replenish the loses i had made two days ago.
hehe.
but busy day.
i've only got to sit for an hour out of 10 hours at work.
legs are aching now,
super duper eye bags,
face cracking out pimples due to mask again,
super dried wrinkled hands due to frequent hand washing with hibi scrub and alcohol hand rub.
i see myself as an old lady now.
sigh.
being a nurse really is a sophisticated job.
100% tough mental career.
sihft work for young ladies really posts more cons than pros.
can you imagine if i'm 25 and i look 30?

do anyone know the defination of the word; queue.
queue means the person in front of you will be serve, first.
that means you have to wait for UR turn to be served.
some people dont understand the meaning of it.
and pretty sad when a three year old toddler know HOW to queue when a 40 year old woman DONT KNOW.

ugly singaporeans when basic manners ARE omitted.
it will be nice to open up and tell the other person if U realllllly want to cut queue because of some gooooood reasons.
i will accept and give way to you when being polite and nice.
but thinking i will give in to you because you are someone older than me without basic respect, i wont.
however i wont say a single word.
becuase UR actions are being observed by many people surrounded.
you still being viewed queueing behide me.

today i woke up feeeling............ good.

just marked a pleasant day i can spend time at home.
to conquer my sleepless nights, working night shifts frequently and the surgical mask that gave many imperfections to us,nurses!!!!!

so....brush my teeth,
smile at myself in the mirror.
hahahah nice!

and here it goes, on my routine off day!

Vichy facial scrub wash for exfoliating removing dead skin.
cleanse face in circular motion. esp palm on both cheeks and gentling move in circular motions. good for removing impurities and dead skin.=)
OR either
use cleansing gel

steaming face to open up cleansed face' pores.
wipe off excess from face and apply kiwi cold paste mask (in fridge) darn good from Skin food.

if i dont steam or use vichy exfoliating, i will use Skin food black sugar mask AFTER vichy gel.

after mask, using egg white for tightening of pores and facial contour (cheapest easy mask =x).
or u can use peppermint pore diet from Skin Food.

followed by daily routine of vichy toner,
vichy day mosturiser,
vichy clear spot whitener,
vichy eye contour white.

all products i used are for asian skin. problems with enlarge pores pimples and dark spots.
totally love them all.

and the end of the day, with my favourite tea to relaz!

In life, a lesson learned in your past that you will never forget completely. When I was in elementary school, I got into a major argument with a boy in my class. I have forgotten what the argument was about, but I have never forgotten the lesson learned that day.

I couldn't believe he said the object was white, when it was obviously black! Another argument started between my classmate and me, this time about the color of the object.

The teacher told me to go stand where the boy was standing and told him to come stand where I had been. We changed places, and now she asked me what the color of the object was. I had to answer,

"White."

It was an object with two differently colored sides, and from his viewpoint it was white. Only from my side was it black.

My teacher taught me a very important lesson learned that day: You must stand in the other person's shoes and look at the situation through their eyes in order to truly understand their perspective.

went to JB with parents.
my mom bought me sport shoes!
loving it.
met up with my uncle aunt and cousin for seafood dinner.
marvellous.
very delicious!
i love it!

i miss the beach.
but not the sun..
hahaha.

care free life!
i love the greenies and blues sky.
perfect salt breeze brush against my face.
eyes slip shut and i see paradise within.

letting me appreciate more... on many small lil things in life.

I read of a man,
Who stood to speak at the funeral of a friend.
He referred to the dates on his tombstone.
From the beginning… to the end.

He noted that the first came the date of his birth,
And spoke of the following date with tears.
But he said that what mattered most of all,
Was the dash between those years.

For that dash represents all the time
That he spent alive on earth
And now only those who loved him
Know what that little line is worth

For it matters not, how much we own,
The cars…the house… the cash

What matters is how we live and love,
And how we spend our dash

So think about this long and hard,
Are there things you'd like to change?
For you never know how much time is left
That can still be rearranged.

If we could just slow down enough
To consider what's true and real
And always try to understand
The way other people feel

And be less quick to anger
And show appreciation more
And love the people in our lives…
Live we've never loved before

If we treat each other with respect,
And more often wear a smile…
Remembering that this special dash,
Might only last a little while

So, when your eulogy is being read…
With your life's actions to rehash
Would you be proud of the things they say…
